Strategic Planning and Visioning:

Envision designs and facilitates engaging and provocative planning sessions for corporate and non-profit groups. The sessions are designed to inspire teams to envision future possibilities, solidify strategic direction and map out the steps to implement it. Our sessions are geared to stimulate multiple learning styles (visual, tactile, auditory and kinesthetic), draw out team members and encourage participation. We create a forum for discussion and decision making with visual graphic templates from the Grove's groundbreaking Strategic Visioning Process™ or customized graphic maps to achieve your specific organizational objectives.

Our work incorporates the best practices of strategic planning, visioning and large-scale change. It enables a group to agree on compelling goals, breakthrough strategies and aligned action. Specifically, it guides groups to:

Work together to develop a compelling vision of the future and the strategies needed to make it reality.
See in one place all of the influences and demands affecting the team.

The outcomes from an Envision Strategic Planning and Visioning Session are:

Clearly defined strategies/goals for the business to achieve the next level of accomplishment and success and the tactics to support it, including, clearly defined roles and responsibilities to enable directed action.
A visual framework for communicating the vision, gain buy-in and support from the organization and facilitate operational goal achievement.


Team Building and Team Dynamics:

Envision utilizes the Myers Briggs Type Indicator Assessment (MBTI) to help individuals and teams develop a common language for understanding team members' preferences for taking in information, processing it and interacting with each other. The MBTI is the most widely used psychological assessment instrument in the world, with more than 2 Million instruments administered annually.

Envision's MBTI sessions are customized for individual teams and include an individual report out of the instrument for each participant as well as a 4 hour group overview session. The group session enables team members to self-select individual type and initiate discussions about how individual type impacts team dynamics. At the end of the session each team member will be able to:

Develop an objective way of understanding personality differences that are reflected in communication, problem solving and leadership styles.
Increase self awareness and confirm self perception.
Identify individual and team 'blind spots'.
Increase organizational effectiveness by better understanding team type preferences.
Create a new "language" for communicating with one another.
Engage in interactive exercises to highlight and understand type preferences.

 

Project and Initiative Planning:

Starting a new project? Bringing a new team together to launch a product? Have a project that is stalled? Inspire the team to success with a planning session designed to increase collaboration and performance. Sessions will be designed specifically for the project and include:

A review of team performance models and identification of where the team currently performs in relation to the model(s).
Give team members an opportunity to define roles and what they each hope to achieve while participating in the project.
Hone in on the goals for the project and define specific success criteria for the group.
Outline the support systems necessary for achieving these goals.
Plan the action steps required to achieve a successful outcome.


New Leader Acculturation:

When a new leader arrives, questions surface from team members about new expectations, opportunities and strategy changes. Each team member wants to know where they fit in. Team dynamics are altered and productivity and morale can be impacted.

The new leader wants to get up-to-speed quickly on the company, the goals of the group and any pressing issues facing the group in order to be successful quickly.

A proactive way to support both the leader and the team is to plan a session to introduce the new leader and the team to one another. This helps team members and the leader meet each other and learn the same information at the same time about the new leader before "myths" are created. A four-hour session over two days can positively impact team dynamics and productivity and increase the success of the leader and team.
